Clear and up-to-date road information helps Upliffting drivers reach their destinations smoothly. When a street is blocked, restricted, or no longer exists, sharing that info helps us update our map and prevent unnecessary delays for everyone. Your reports keep our routes smarter and your trips easier.

How to Tell Us Something’s Wrong on the Map

If you come across a road in real life that doesn’t match, here’s how to let us know:

• Open the Map Feedback in your driver app.
• Drop a pin on the exact spot or type in the location.
• Choose the kind of issue you found.
• Add a short note explaining what’s happening on that road.
• Attach a photo if you can — signs, barriers, gates, anything helpful.
• Submit. We take it from there.

1. Roads That Don’t Exist Anymore

Sometimes a street has been changed, or turned into something else but still shows on the map. This can cause drivers to take confusing detours. When this happens, tell us:

• What the old road was called.
• Where it used to be.
• What replaced it (a park, walkway, new building, etc.).
• A photo that shows the area clearly — optional but great.

2. Roads Blocked for a Short Time

Repairs and community activities can temporarily limit access. If a road is closed until later, we need to know so we don’t route drivers into a dead end.

• The name and location of the road.
• Why it’s blocked (construction, festival, emergency work).
• How long it might stay closed if you know.
• A quick picture of cones, barriers, or signage.

3. Streets With Limited or Controlled Entry

Some roads require permission to enter — like gated neighborhoods, security checkpoints, or private service roads.

• The exact location.
• What kind of restriction is there (gate, guard, code, restricted hours).
• A photo of any posted signs or the entry point.
• Any details that help drivers understand the process.

4. Roads That Look Fine on the Map but Aren’t Drivable

A road may appear normal in the app but be blocked in real life — maybe it’s pedestrian-only, physically blocked, or unsafe. Reporting these keeps others from getting stuck.

• The road name and where it starts or ends.
• Why it cannot be used (barrier, walkway, locked gate, narrow path).
• A photo of the obstruction or sign if possible.
